I’m pleased to see Open Office 2 has now been announced. As much as Microsoft has been obsessing about Linux being a threat I think Open Office has much more potential to really impact their favourite cash cow. OO 1.x was a fine product but 2.0 has a lot more polish. I expect that for most organisations there are fewer and fewer reasons to stick with MS Office.
